General
Who is this conference intended for?
The goal of GodotCon is to provide an opportunity for community members to meet in person, exchange knowledge, form business contacts, and to introduce new people to the Godot project. Therefore it targets no particular skill level nor occupation over another, ideally becoming a melting pot of various user backgrounds. So if you are in any way interested in the Godot Engine, this is the right conference for you!
Can my company become a sponsor?
The sponsorship window for the conference has now closed. However, if you’re interested in supporting the Godot Engine, we encourage you to visit our development fund for opportunities to contribute and get involved.
Can I showcase my game? Or submit a talk/workshop proposal
Fill out this form, we would love to hear about your projects and ideas! We cannot accept every submission, but we will email you about our decision either way. This means that while we do set aside tickets for our speakers and exhibitors, you should purchase one if you plan to attend either way.
Will there be catering? Can I bring my own food?
We wanted to keep the ticket costs as low as possible, so while you will be able to purchase snacks, coffee, and bottled soft drinks at the venue, there is no catering included. You are allowed to consume your own food & drink in the outside areas, but not in the building due to venue regulations.
I am arriving in town early. Is there (un-)official pre-programming?
Yes! Details yet to come, but there will be a warm-up hangout on the day before the conference. Feel free to organize your own meetups on the GodotCon Discord as well!
Will the conference be livestreamed like last year?
Since the team has to focus on the onsite operations during the event days, we opted to record the talks to publish at a later date. This is also much cheaper than livestreaming, with little difference to the viewer. We want to get the quality right, rather than spread ourselves thin!
What covid measures will you implement?
There are currently no covid restrictions in Berlin. However, we will provide free FFP2 masks at the entrance and encourage everyone to wear these. There will also be sanitizers distributed to the booths.
If you do have covid (symptoms) or another contagious illness, we kindly ask you to stay at home.
I don’t want to miss out on talks, are there any restaurants nearby?
Yes, there are plenty of restaurants and shops less than ten minutes away. Take a look around the location and pick your favourite: Google Maps
When is the venue accessible?
The venue will be open from 9 am onwards on both days. It will close at 7pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.
Will there be free WiFi?
Yes, we will have wifi networks for visitors and exhibitors.
Does the venue allow you to bring backpacks?
Yes. We will also offer a wardrobe where you can leave personal items if you do not want to carry them around.
Tickets
The shop says you are sold out

What types of tickets are there?
In addition to the Standard Ticket (70 EUR), we offer a Reduced Ticket (50 EUR) for students or disability pass holders, a Supporter Ticket (90 EUR) which will get you a special pin & badge, as well as a Corporate Ticket (170 EUR) with faster & more detailed invoicing. Read more in the ticket shop.
Can I upgrade my ticket after purchase?
Yes! Send us an email to [email protected] with your name and wish. Make sure to use the same mail address you bought the tickets with, so we can verify your identity!
What is your cancellation policy?

Do I need to use my legal name? What will be shown on the badges?
You do not need to tell us your government name, for checking into the event you will only need the QR code we send you. The onsite badges are voluntary and will have empty fields you can fill out at your own discretion.
